Generally sold as a ground powder but sometimes can be found as whole chilies.

Very good in Hungarian goulash, chicken, veal and port dishes, grilled or BBQ meats. Use as a bright garnish with egg dishes. Paprika is generally one of the main ingredients in commercial seasonings for meats and BBQ blends.

Paprika is the name of a spice commonly used to describe sweet, bright red powders made from drying and grinding sweet whole chillies or peppers. Chilies vary in size, taste, flavor and aroma.
Paprika
Generally when a recipe calls for Paprika it is Spanish Paprika. It is graded into three classifications: sweet, bitersweet or semi-sweet and hot. It has a dark red color and has a sweet, smoky flavor.
