Coriander exists in dried whole seeds or ground into a powder.

Store in cool, dark and dry place. Seeds will stay fresh for at least two years. Ground coriander seeds will remain flavorful for six months to one year.

It is best to use whole seeds and grind just before use because the flavorful oil in the seed will be released.

To enhance the already wonderful flavor, dry roast the seeds before you grind them into a powder.
