Ajowan is also known as Ajwain, Bishop's Weed, Ajave Seeds, Ajvain, and Ethiopian Cumin.

It is available in dried whole seeds. Whole seeds can be stored for up to two years in a cool, dark place away from moisture.

Ajowan is an annual plant indigenous to Southern India and is related to caraway and cumin. You will find them in Indian markets.
