Creamed Peas and Pearl Onions
1 - 10 ounce
package frozen peas In a covered saucepan cook the peas and onions in boiling water, about 10 minutes or until tender. Drain. In saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Blend in the flour, salt and pepper. Add the milk and stirring constantly, cook until thick and bubbly. Pour over the peas and onions, stir gently. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese if desired.
